The Top Ten Best Contemporary Hanging Light Fixtures in Victoria B.C.

 

People often complain that because we live on an island we don’t have cool and contemporary light fixtures available to us.  Here is a selection of lighting that proves quite the contrary.

    If people think the lighting selection in Victoria is bad, they should see the selection in Ottawa :-( We're sadly lacking in ALL areas of home decor, not only lighting.


    My favourites here are the Jurgen Bey and Edward van Vlie fixtures. And the Gino Sarfatti fixture too :-)

    I like the Cabouche - Foscarini
    Designer: Patricia Urquiola. It resembles an anniversary ring, very sparkly and elegant.

    I am very partial to B&B Italia so I have to choose any Moooi lights, I love everything Urquiola does, I believe Flos has great designers...do I really need to choose one?
    To be impartial I'll choose Modernica!

    Thank you so much for providing so many wonderful designs for lighting. I hope to see some of them in some HGTV shows, depending on your taste I don't think you could go wrong with any of these, I know I wouldn't. This is a really great top ten list.     The Random and Dandelion are such classics, but you didn't show the new Moooi Non-Random. Check it out. I saw it in Milan last summer and it has got a vaguely chinese influence.

    I love the Flos luminaires, but the Foscarini is a new favorites. It probably gives off great lighting effects.

    I like the simplicity of the Vibia pendant, but I also like Flos for wow appeal.

    I'm between the vibia pendant and random light, you just can't go wrong with either of them - that's not to say that I don't love them all though!
