Product: The Basket - Dining Table
Designer: Tareq Abu Ghazaleh
Material: Ebony stained Oak (other finishes also available)
Collection: Masara
Yummy Factor: HOT & SPICY !
In ebony stained oak, this stunning table has simple, but yet beautiful lines in an inverted cone shape.
Playing on the traditional basket shape, Qerat / Tareq one of my favorite fellow bloggers and furniture designers has found inspiration from one of those simple elements that you always find in the rural landscape. The basket table was conceived with modern touches and can fit with many themes, from mid century modern to eclectic design.
And of course, the Basket dining table comes in different types of wood finishes.
Tareq took his inspiration for the line's furniture design from the classic forms of farm life and culture but with a twist. In fact the name of the collection, Masara, is a variation on the Arabic word meaning Farm, which in Arabic is pronounced "Mazra'a".
I invite you to visit Qerat's Blog and discover what Jordan contemporary design is offering today. If you are looking for something truly unique and full of exoticism you will be excited by what you see on Tareq Abu Ghazaleh's blog. It's a site where one day you'll read of walks in the streets of Amman, feeling the flavors and characteristics of the city; and the next day you may see a beautiful chair reupholstered in a stunning citrus damask. Keep looking and you'll find many more hot and spicy eye candies just like " The Basket " dining table or " The Cube ".

Ivan,
What a beautiful suprise to start the day with. THANK YOU.
You made my day. It is nice to be recognized by clients, but it is a totally different thing to be mentioned in such a flattering way by a designer, and one of your calibre and taste.
Thanks again.
Tareq
