Crystal – Sandblasted by Hand

“The optical projects explores, through shapes, incisions and sanding, variations of light effect on crystal. The different techniques are used to invite or challenge light's entry and create playful effects that allow us to discover the magic of light inside crystal structures.”   Jaime Hayon

All the patterns on Valencia collection are sandblasted by hand. Different configurations can be made with the candleholders since their bases fit one another.

The candleholders are available in 5 , the tealight holders are available in 4 different models.

Refreshing !!!

What a talent...anything he gets his hands on turns out stunning...the Josephine 3.6.9 is my favorite lighting fixture of all time! In black! I imagine these in the same dining room as that chandelier!

Nice find...very yummy.

It's nice to see crystal used in a more modern way -- thanks for sharing!

The crystal looks expertly crafted. They appear to be wrapped in ribbons of silver and light. A set of these would be welcome in any home I would think!
